From the outside, the hotel buildings look like traditional temples, but from the inside they are elegant, modern and designed in light colours. The large windows also provide plenty of light and a pleasant atmosphere. The recently renovated rooms and villas are equipped with a double bed and have either a balcony or a terrace.

These rooms are the Rocky’s newest addition. The sixteen stunning rooms have direct access to the garden pool. Perfect for couples or small families, these new rooms are spacious and inviting.

14 Premier Ocean View Rooms (42-55 m²).

These rooms are designed in the same style as the popular Premier Beachfront Rooms with Plunge Pool. Some rooms are higher up the hill for more privacy. Others are closer to the pool area and restaurant, ideal for older guests or those with younger children. There are also some rooms with connecting doors.

7 Premier Beachfront with Plunge Pool Room (39 m²)

These rooms are located directly on the beach, just a few metres from the sea. They are beautifully appointed rooms, featuring high quality furniture from Chiang Mai and elegant artwork. These suites are unique on Samui as they are close to the beach while offering privacy and seclusion.

1 Exclusive Beachfront with Plunge Pool Room (65 m²).

These rooms are the most luxurious rooms in the hotel. They are located directly on the point between two of the four private beaches and offer a magnificent view of the sea from their spacious balcony. This suite is ideal for honeymooners, couples seeking privacy and luxury, or small families looking to indulge in 270 degree water views and direct beach access.

1 Two Bedroom Beachfront with Plunge Pool Room (78 m²).

This is a beautiful beachfront room designed for families or two couples who want to spend their holiday together. This house has 2 bedrooms, each with private access, bathroom, air conditioning and facilities. The shared balcony, just a few metres from the water, is perfect for relaxing, reading or spending precious holiday time together. This unit can accommodate up to 6 people.

3 Two Bedroom Pool Villas (120 m²)

The villas offer some special amenities that make your stay on Koh Samui extra special. The spacious rooms can accommodate up to 6 people and provide plenty of privacy.

The Dining Room

Dine outside on the rocks by the sea or in the open-air dining room. The exceptional chef and his team create a wonderful cross-over of Mediterranean and French cuisine.

The Bistro

The restaurant features an outdoor show kitchen with a state-of-the-art imported Italian oven and grill. It is elegant and casual with a modern Thai ambience.

Located between the pool and the sea on the rocks, this is the place to enjoy refreshing cocktails and more.

Whether it’s an active or relaxed holiday, there is always something to experience here. The offers range from cooking classes and stand-up paddling to relaxing massages in the spa. Especially popular with couples is the romantic breakfast or dinner for two on the rocks or on the beach. Guests who would like to explore the surrounding area can take the Josephine boat trips, use the free shuttle to Lamai or go out to the nearby local restaurants.

The Rocky’ is committed to supporting local sustainability projects and strives to make a difference within the day-to-day operations of the hotel.

It supports the island’s Low Carbon School Project. This includes not only the financial support of a local school, but also learning sessions for the students with the Rocky’s staff. For example, they are taught how to grow their own herbs and vegetables.

Another project that is supported involves donating leftover food (meat, bread and rice) to a rescue centre for stray dogs.

Not only “on their own doorstep”, but all over the island, employees volunteer to clean up the gorgeous sandy beaches to preserve their natural beauty.

Within the hotel, some food is planted for the hotel’s own use. Food leftovers and biological waste are also brought back into the cycle in the form of a home-made fertiliser. Water is also not to be wasted, but best reused, which is done by collecting and recycling the waste water.
