Location
Few lodges can claim to be on the threshold of a World Heritage Site. This area is endowed with the waters of Lake St Lucia, which is home to a variety of birds and wildlife. Nibela Lake Lodge is easily accessible from Durban.
In and around the hotel
On arrival you will be rewarded with your own private sanctuary in beautifully appointed wooden chalets with private balconies and lake views, not to mention birdsong in the surrounding treetops.
The main lodge offers an outdoor viewing deck, an ideal spot for a sundowner served just before dinner in our Lakeview Restaurant. Our menu offers a continental breakfast, a three-course meal and light dishes such as pizza and crispy fries.
Spend your time exploring the surrounding area of iSimangaliso. Go hiking, fishing, diving, cycling, bird watching or picnicking. Enjoy game viewing on a day trip to Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Park, or relax by the pool.
