About Us

Philosophy

Thanks to extensive and long-standing knowledge of the tourism market and an above-average network with tour operators and travel agencies, HR&N has been successful since 2006 in representing international hotels and DMCs (incoming agencies) primarily in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also in the rest of Europe.

Goals of cooperation

Our first goal is to present our partners to the tour operators both in the catalogs and on their websites. The second step is to support employees in travel agencies with innovative marketing measures when selling hotels or traveling.

These include presentations, trainings, roadshows as well as print and online advertising. Individual trainings directly at the travel agency on site are also carried out. Furthermore, we are happy to help with our expertise and experience in answering customer inquiries or planning B2C events.

Strong communication (internally as well as externally) is another important pillar for mutual success. Only with trust, a respectful togetherness and appreciation can we realize small and big goals for all sides together.

In the meantime, numerous partners have been closely associated with us since 2007. This shows us that with our concept we have embarked on a path of cooperation from which you as our partner (hotel, DMC, tour operator, travel agency) will benefit in the long term.

Susanne Lastein

Business Development Manager

I was born in Denmark but mostly lived outside Denmark and my passion has always been traveling. For 20 years I worked in the tourism industry in Portugal.

First as a Portugal manager for a travel agency, then as a general manager for a small 5-star sports hotel, and in recent years as a commercial manager for a company that ran several golf courses and resorts. I also founded a travel agency in Portugal and was co-founder and shareholder of a small airline, working in most areas of tourism.

For the last 13 years I lived in Germany and worked as a Sales and Marketing Manager with clients worldwide. I will be working in business development and looking forward to an exciting business.

Petra Schickling

Managing Director

As Managing Director & owner of Herget Representation & Networking GmbH, I started my self-employment in 2006, combined with the vision of representing luxury resorts and attractive destinations on the German-speaking market.

Within the next few years since the company’s inception, the territories to be serviced could be expanded first to Benelux, then Scandinavia and finally to Continental Europe. I have been working in tourism since 1992 with initial focus on North and Central America and Asia. Over time, the world has “become a village”….

So I now look back fondly on the successes and see the opportunities we have for our partners in the future. I am happy and grateful to have embarked on this path, on which I still travel with the same enthusiasm.

Kerstin Marks

Sales & Marketing Manager

After I have finished my degree in hospitality I bought a one way ticket to Australia and from then my passion for foreign countries, languages and cultures started.

After I have worked for two years in a marketing department for an Australian tour operator I return to Germany and became a team member of travel department at a French cosmetic company based in Dusseldorf.

From now on I’m delighted to have joined Herget Representation as a sales manager and represent the hotels and agencies in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and establish them on the market.

Christine Altzinger

Sales & Marketing Manager

I am an ‘old hand’ in tourism and my area of focus is sales and marketing. With this specialization, I have gained years of experience in the hotel industry, in the airline sector, with a tour operator and a railway company.

With the support and marketing of the hotels of the Veranda Resorts in the DACH market, I build on my knowledge of the tourism and MICE market and am pleased to be working for this Thai hotel group.

The joy of travelling and my interest in far-away countries and cultures have accompanied me on my career path so far and I am looking forward to new experiences and adventures.

Inna Hosch

Sales Manager

My passion is to explore foreign countries, cultures and languages.

I have gathered first practical experience in the Event Management field during my studies. After my studies, I have worked for many years successfully as Sales & Marketing Coordinator in Regional Sales Office of Luxury Hotel group and looked after Travel Agencies and Tour Operators worldwide.

In my role as Sales Manager at HR & N I am taking care of exclusive Hotels of La Flora Group: 5* Casa de La Flora, 4.5* La Flora Khao Lak and 5* La Vela at  Khao Lak as well as of 5.5* Rayavadee Resort at Krabi. It is very important for me to provide the best service to our partners and clients.

Jörg Schindhelm

…. Feeling at home away from home… that has always been my motto.

Coming from the hotel business and having worked there in all areas for a long time, I started my own consulting and lodging business in the 2000s.

My enthusiasm for other countries and foreign cultures has been boundless since my childhood, so working with other hotels abroad gives me a lot of pleasure and expands my horizon.

In Sales at HR&N I am currently in charge of the AYANA Hotels in Bali and Flores, as well as The Nai Harn in Phuket and I am looking forward to supporting my colleagues in building up new clients and maintaining the existing ones.

Charlotte Rehse

Dual Student

Already during school I dreamed of discovering the world and planned my travels through Europe for the year after graduation.

My open, curious and warm-hearted nature allowed me to quickly immerse myself in other cultures, which accompany me to this day.

It is especially close to my heart to live out and pass on my passion during my studies of marketing and event management at accadis Hochschule in Bad Homburg, which is why I am delighted to actively support HR&N as a dual student.

primo PR was founded in 2012 by PR professionals Anne Heussner and Nuray Güler, after many years of experience in one of the leading PR agencies for tourism in Germany. Within this time, primo PR has established itself as a small and fine boutique PR agency based in Frankfurt am Main.

The small team specialises in tourism, hospitality, lifestyle & more with a comprehensive know-how in corporate communications, consumer PR, BtB and social media relations. Selected network partners from various industries around the world support our mission and that of our clients. Our communications work (on- and offline) is target-oriented and individual.

For us, the balance between client and media representative, business contact as well as influencer is important to build mutual and long-term trust and understanding. I’m working for more than 27 years in various areas of tourism and could collect are true colourful kaleidoscope of experiences and most important insights in hotel operations, marketing and communication needs for hotels and destinations.

„What if 7,5 billon inhabitants of our planet realize he or she is the change. It is our responsibility – let’s do it!“ Becoming aware that I want to do my share as well, in 2012, I have founded Green Pearls® GmbH Unique Places with two still partners.

My vision is, that travelers give back while staying in the destinations and at the same time do not have to renounce, but bringing home an unforgettable, sustainable experience.
