Description
Nogatsaa Pans Chobe Lodge offers a unique and immersive safari experience in the remote and unspoiled region of Botswana’s Chobe National Park. Overlooking the expansive Kwikamba Pan, the lodge offers an authentic safari adventure where guests can observe wildlife drinking at the waterhole right outside the property.
Location
Nogatsaa Pans Lodge is located on the edge of Kwikamba Pan in the eastern part of Chobe National Park, about 80 kilometres from Kasane.
The two-hour drive from Kasane Airport takes you through parts of the park, several local villages and various off-road tracks.
If you want to reduce your travel time, you can take a small plane. This will fly you from Kasane to your destination in just 15 minutes. The airstrip is only an eight-minute drive from the lodge. Mack Air now offers scenic flights over this beautiful part of Chobe National Park, providing unparalleled opportunities to view wildlife in a very remote part of Botswana’s second-largest nature reserve.
In and around the Hotel
The main area comprises a covered restaurant and bar, as well as various seating areas where guests can relax and enjoy the wilderness surroundings. The restaurant offers a culinary journey inspired by Africa, with dishes made from locally sourced ingredients that enrich the safari experience.
A raised viewing platform invites guests to admire the night sky over Botswana and offers excellent stargazing opportunities. Guests can also relax on the pool terrace and enjoy the ultimate safari experience.
The lodge has 12 classically elegant tents on raised platforms, including two family tents. Each tent has a spacious outdoor terrace with sweeping views of the Kwikamba Pan.
